We all have a Story
…and sometimes, it’s a tough one.
And that’s OK.
My name is Lenore and I tell tough stories that centre
around hope and strength…and growth.
I help people understand the impact of trauma so that they can lead healthier lives. By telling relatable survival stories (+sharing real life resources) I help make the darkness inside make sense.
Speaking Topics
- understanding the health impacts of trauma
- discovering simple survival instincts and tools
- embracing the power that motherhood (+community) plays in healing.
- owning your story…and more.
Your Story Does not Define you
Backstory…when working alone in a retail setting 30+ years ago (1992) Lenore was robbed, kidnapped, assaulted, and held captive in the
woods for 9 days. She was 21.
Her attacker is a convicted serial murderer and she shares this story to show others that life after severe trauma is possible.
She strives to help others find positivity, humour and hope in darkness. She reframes common thoughts and blends real life relatable stories to help others find the truth, light and power in their own.
What they Said
A lot of people are suffering in silence, invisibly… The point we wanted to make today (hiring Lenore), is this could be anybody…. You don’t know what’s going on with other people, and they hide their trauma, and they hide their suffering.”

What They Also Said
Within the last 10 or so years, I have watched Lenore evolve as a mother and seen a powerful voice emerge. Her podcast especially is one of the most compelling accounts of personal fear and anguish I have ever heard.
